This month’s guest speaker is Charlie Tarasidis, PharmD, Carilion Clinic, who will lead a roundtable discussion focused on reducing barriers to hepatitis C care in opioid treatment programs and other settings across Virginia.

 With a new pilot program preparing to launch streamlined HCV referral and treatment options, Charlie will draw on his expertise in addiction medicine, pharmacy innovation, and opioid stewardship to explore each step of the care process, from identifying and referring patients to treatment, visits, labs, and follow-up. The discussion will provide an opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and work through barriers that may arise along the way.
